I've been wanting to start blogging for quite some time, so it's my birthday gift to me. It's now or never!!! So this will be a learning process as I figure out how to blog.
I am on a high after returning last week from the yearly quilt guild retreat. Had a GREAT time - good friends, good classes, good accommendations!! That was a busy weekend, I completed two flower snippet holders (given away for the bag raffles), pleather purse, Laura's diaper bag, Ohio star block and started the "make my day quilt" (will post pictures when I fugure out how). I'm pleased I got the diaper bag done (usually I'm working on a project at the last minute) for Laura's baby shower (Feb. 5th). Just have to stuff it full of baby items.
Need to get started on the project for our local sewing and quilting club meeting in Feb. Have to remember how I made the tote bag and write down the directions. Will try to post pictures about the project.
This weekend is not a busy weekend, at least not yet. See what the weather does. Would like to go shopping in Lima. Want to rearrange the living room to get the computer desk down stairs (out of my sewing studio). We'll have to see if all fits!!!???!!! Then I would like to get working on Carol's class, the make my day quilt. And practice free motion quilting the way Sharon taught at retreat.
Really need to make a list of ufo's. And then get working on them. Need to reaarange and clean (really clean up) my sewing studio. Need to make a list of recipes to work into points (weight is coming off slow but coming off). Also need to do the normal weekly chores. Laundry, cleaning, cooking,. etc., etc., and etc.
