Snow

Snow, snow, snow.  Winter is here!!

Had a good week.  Work is still staying about two weeks ahead of appointments.  Want to keep that going but I know that will be changing, lots of alteration appointments scheduled for this weekend.  Hate it when we are working only on today or tomorrow's work.  Stressful!!  Will probably be working some longer hours to keep ahead.

Had a good sewing club on Wednesday.  Found a place to have the meetings instead of someone's home that way more people can attend.  Working on a large totebag.   Most will be using it to carry sewing supplies to the meetings.  Had eight attend with two new members.  Planning on making potholders at the next meeting.  Asking more people to come and join us as we sew.  Exciting!!  Ladies want to make purses, sweatshirt jackets, tablerunners, etc.  Some are interested in joing the local quilting guild.

Don had a busy last week, watched grandkids everyday.  He enjoys that so much.  He is usually tired but loves it.  Since he has fatigue with his GBS (gullian barre syndrome), he spent the weekend resting.  Watched grandkids, three days this week.  He is seeing stuff he missed when our kids were little because he was working two jobs.  He loves it!!  We are watching Jen's kids on Saturday when they get there taxes done.

What a good weekend!

Had a great weekend!  Last weekend!  Had a nice birthday on Sunday, the 29th!  Lots of birthday wishes and phone calls and visits.  Great to hear from everyone.  Thanks!

Moved the computer and desk down stairs.  Fits along the wall with the tv.  Will now need to rearrange the items on the wall.  When Jen and Rob visited, Rob worked on  the desk top and it works much quicker.  Don helped take pictures of the club project and figured out how to send in an email.  Now need to work on how to load pictures for the blog.

Nicole, Chad, Vanessa and Rebecca stopped in and Jenny, Rob, Rayna and Seth also stopped in.  Always great to see the grandkids.  Vanessa was reading and reading.  Rebecca was enjoying purble place on the computer.  Rayna was thrilled with the birthday cupcake she helped make for me.  Seth was learning to walk and he will be running soon.

Has been a fast week and a slow week.  Why does the day seem to go so slow but the week goes really fast.  I will never figured that out!!??!!

Need to work on writing up the pattern for the club project and get ready for the meeting on Wednesday.
